On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, there were several different music events taking place not only in Prague, but I decided to head to the Bike Jesus club for a metalcore party featuring the American band Archers with support from the young German band Lost in Hollywood.
The very first band to take the stage, Lost in Hollywood, really got the club and the fans inside fired up. Although the turnout wasn’t the largest, the fans brought even more energy with them and gave it their all. After just a few songs, a wall of death formed, followed by a mosh pit that didn’t stop for the entire duration of the set. This band from Hamburg recently released their second album, and they presented it to us here in Prague as well. I hope they’ll have fond memories of their first show in Prague and come back to see us again someday.

If the party was already in full swing during the first band’s set, it kicked it up a notch when the headliners, Archers, took the stage. The band already has several albums under their belt, as well as some great new singles. They played a mix of all of that for us, and even included their latest tracks, “The Dirt” and “Say So,” which is actually how I discovered them in the first place. A performance isn’t just about the quality of the music, but also about the overall presentation. Everyone can probably tell when a band isn’t just playing on stage but is enjoying the show just as much as the people below. That’s exactly what happened this evening. Frontman Nathanael was the leader of the entire evening, and under his guidance, everyone had a great time. I’m truly grateful that I got to experience this evening, because I haven’t felt that much positive energy at a concert in a long time. I’m glad that events like this will continue to happen. Sometimes you don’t need a large crowd to create a great atmosphere. I think everyone present felt the same way, and nothing but positive feedback could be heard from all sides. I believe that the band’s second visit to Europe and the Czech Republic was a success, and that they’ll be back again.

I hope each of you has a similar experience that will stay with you for a long time to come. For me, it was the best evening of the year so far, and it won’t be easy for anyone to top it.
Which concert was special for you, too, and one you’ll never forget?
