Two days, one stage, and a solid dose of metal: Březfest 2026 is back

Here’s another invitation to a summer festival that will feature not only Czech stars but also several international acts. The second edition of the Březfest festival will take place on June 19–20, 2026 in the Březinovy sady Amphitheater in Jihlava. Building on last year’s successful debut, this year’s festival promises an expanded lineup and even more fun for everyone.

Tickets and more information are available on the festival website (link here).

Friday, June 19 – The Roots of the Vysočina Region

The first day of the festival is titled Kořeny Vysočiny and will be more than just a simple warm-up. The organizers have joined forces with the Fajtfest festival and are preparing a full-fledged Friday program on a stage just as large, with sound and lighting production of the same high quality as the main Saturday event. The goal is to support the local and regional scene while also bringing in bands that are on their way to European festivals.

Friday's lineup will showcase the festival's harder and more modern side:

  • STELLVRIS (EU)
  • MALIGNANT TUMOUR (CZ)
  • FURIOSA (CZ)
  • EXTREME (CZ)
  • KOMODO (HU)

Fans can look forward to a mix of metalcore, hardcore energy, crust, and even more extreme genres. Friday is set to be rawer, more club-oriented, and focused on an underground vibe that will bring together fans from the Vysočina region and other parts of the country.

Saturday, June 20 – MAIN FESTIVAL DAY

Saturday will feature the festival’s main program against the backdrop of the natural amphitheater in Březinovy sady Park in Jihlava. The lineup for this second edition features an international cast of artists and a wide range of genres—from gothic rock and melodic death metal to modern metal and alternative hard rock.

Performing on the main stage will be:

  • INDUCTION (DE)
  • MOYRA (PL)
  • IN SANITY (DE)
  • XIII. STOLETÍ (CZ)
  • DARK GAMBALLE (CZ)
  • BLACK ROW (CZ)
  • PURNAMA (CZ)
  • PALPITATE (CZ)

The big draw on Saturday will be the Czech gothic rockers XIII. Století, who will bring a dark atmosphere and iconic songs from the Czech dark scene. Originally from Germany, Induction, with an international lineup, will offer a dose of melodic power metal of European caliber, while Dark Gamballe represent a domestic crossover staple with an energetic show.

A large festival area will be open on Saturday. There will be plenty of bars and beer stands, along with a food court, of course. No festival would be complete without a merchandise stand. A chill zone will also be available for those looking to relax. Naturally, all of this will take place outdoors in the ideal setting of the Jihlava Amphitheater.

Březfest 2026 aims to offer two distinct yet interconnected festival days. Friday will focus on the roots and the harder underground scene from the local area, while Saturday will be a spectacular open-air highlight featuring international acts and a large-scale production.

We won't miss this event. Will you be there too? We look forward to seeing you!
