German symphonic power metal band Timeless Rage released their second studio album on March 27, 2026. The new concept album is titled "My Kingdom Come," and its content revolves around central themes such as power, freedom, rebellion, love, guilt, war, and the cycle of life and death.
The album is being released four years after their debut album, "Untold," thereby solidifying position of Nicolaj Ruhnow as the frontman and lead vocalist of the band. It also introduces the new bassist Daniel Wengle. They join the long-standing lineup of guitarists Michael Benk and Christian Pirche, keyboard player Anna Keil and drummer Klaus Buchfink.

The album’s musical spectrum ranges from orchestral grandeur to uncompromising metal power. The tracks share a dark atmosphere that ties the entire album together. But even in the darkness, there are brighter moments. From the very first listen, you’ll be captivated by the melodic guitar passages complemented by keyboards, as well as the bass lines paired with fast, energetic drums. Everything is then highlighted by Nicolaj’s lead vocals, which alternate between a deeper, raspy tone and a high-pitched, sometimes slightly shrill voice. This dark album radiates a great deal of energy and emotional depth.
The album opens with the title track, “My Kingdom Come,” for which an interesting music video was also released. It’s a very powerful opening track that sets the pace and atmosphere for the entire album. The track “The Devil’s Masquerade” is definitely worth noting as well, with its demonic intro and very catchy chorus. Another track that caught my attention from the very first notes is “Moonbite Serenade.” It’s the longest track on the entire album, but it flows beautifully from the verse to the chorus and back. I’d also like to mention the track “We All Shall Fall,” which has a very dark title, and the music—especially in the verses—sounds very dark as well. I think, however, that the chorus reveals a bit of light.
Timeless Rage ve created a work that will appeal to both fans of the genre and listeners who appreciate storytelling, atmosphere, and musical quality. I’d give them a solid 80%, and I’m curious to see how they’ll continue on their musical journey.
