On Saturday, July 26, 2025, I went to the Konopiště castle in Central Bohemia, where, as part of a music event, I performed in the local amphitheater. Summer in Konopiště played KEKS and Fishers 48. Due to the rain and the more demanding route, I unfortunately didn't manage to catch the heavy-pop pre-show. Madam Royal. However, I hope to encounter them in the near future and make it up to them.
As I was entering the entrance, I passed a lot of people who had given up for the evening, either because of the rain (which fortunately soon passed), or because of the wetness and the omnipresent deep pools of water.
At half past eight, the local performers began their evening performance. KEKS, Those who are returning here after three years. As soon as the show began, they announced that they would return here in a year and on June 27, 2026, they would celebrate 45 years on the music scene here. However, here and now, they played songs across their entire musical career.
We heard the song „Nevinnej mejdan“ for all the partying friends, „Jak se děkuje andělům“ for the women, and the song „Víš“ dedicated to the future bride who was having her farewell party here. „Zábava začíná“ and „Kalhotky bílé“ that they forgot about and apparently haven’t played for a long time didn’t miss the audience either. We could also hear „Poslední bál,“ „Apolináře,“ and „Proč holky pláčou,“ and as a final addition, the single „Černý oči.“
After them, around ten o'clock, they reached the stage. Fishers 48. They played (like Keks as well) for a bit longer than is customary at most festivals. Besides their popular songs like „Chtěl jsem tím říct,“ „Magdaléna,“ „Ženy,“ or „Zamilovaný nešťastný“, they also added, for example, the country song „Posázavský pacifik“, where the horse costumes were not missing either. At the same time, in addition to the classic „Léta“, they enriched the repertoire with „Léto 2“, which was released exactly ten years later this year. The Ondra’s drumming solo was also not missing, as was the promotion of the autumn album and the tour following it, or the classic addition with „Američan z Poličan“ and „My ještě nejsme starý“.“
Of course, there was no shortage of a considerable number of you fans.

I am very grateful that I was able to once again visit the beautiful surroundings of the Konopiště Amphitheater, and above all, I am happy that after many years I was able to hear the classic rock band Keks live again.
