I kdy\u017e se kon\u00e1 spousta open-air festival\u016f, 5. \u010dervence 2025 jsme se p\u0159es to vydali do klubu Colos-Saal <\/strong>v Aschaffenburgu, abychom si u\u017eili release show nejnov\u011bj\u0161\u00edho alba Warkings, „Armageddon“. Jejich speci\u00e1ln\u00edm hostem byla kapela Hammer King<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hned po otev\u0159en\u00ed dve\u0159\u00ed se konala autogrami\u00e1da s velkolep\u00fdmi Warkings<\/strong>. V\u0161ichni p\u0159\u00edtomn\u00ed fanou\u0161ci si mohli nechat podepsat nov\u00e9 CD a promo karty nebo se vyfotit s kapelou. Tak\u00e9 jsem se tam vydala, abych si popov\u00eddala a z\u00edskala p\u00e1r autogram\u016f.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Potom u\u017e jsme museli po\u010dkat do osmi na za\u010d\u00e1tek vystoupen\u00ed skupiny Hammer King<\/strong>. Ti svou show zah\u00e1jili velice popul\u00e1rn\u00ed skladbou „Pariah Is My Name“ a hned od za\u010d\u00e1tku to po\u0159\u00e1dn\u011b rozjeli. Poprv\u00e9 jsem je vid\u011bla v nov\u00e9 p\u011bti\u010dlenn\u00e9 sestav\u011b s mladou posilou, nov\u00fdm druh\u00fdm kytaristou Sirem Marexem<\/strong>. I p\u0159es lehkou nervozitu si mysl\u00edm, \u017ee to kapely dob\u0159e zapad\u00e1 a je fajn sly\u0161et z p\u00f3dia op\u011bt dv\u011b kytary. Tak\u00e9 mus\u00edm zm\u00ednit, \u017ee zp\u011bv\u00e1kovi a frontmanovi Titanu Foxovi V. <\/strong>sv\u011bd\u010d\u00ed, \u017ee odlo\u017eil svoji kytaru a m\u016f\u017ee se tak v\u00edce soust\u0159edit na zp\u011bv a tak\u00e9 na spolupr\u00e1ci s publikem.
Krom\u011b ji\u017e prov\u011b\u0159en\u00fdch skladeb jako „Awaken The Thunder“ nebo „Hammerschlag“ jsme mohli sly\u0161et nejnov\u011bj\u0161\u00ed single „Make Metal Royal Again“ z p\u0159ipravovan\u00e9ho alba. Na \u00fapln\u00fd z\u00e1v\u011br vystoupen\u00ed zvolili jednu z nejstar\u0161\u00edch skladeb „Kingdom of the Hammer King“, kdy do publika vypustili n\u011bkolik zlat\u00fdch nafukovac\u00edch bal\u00f3n\u016f. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Po dal\u0161\u00ed chv\u00edli \u010dek\u00e1n\u00ed zazn\u011bl z repr\u00e1k\u016f asi v\u0161emi metalisty zn\u00e1m\u00fd song „Warriors of the World“ od Manowar <\/strong>a vrchol ve\u010dera mohl za\u010d\u00edt. Na \u00favod nesm\u011blo chyb\u011bt intro s p\u0159edstaven\u00edm v\u0161ech \u010dty\u0159 p\u016fvodn\u00edch \u010dlen\u016f Warkings<\/strong> a za\u010dali skladbou „The Last Battle“ n\u00e1sledovanou dal\u0161\u00ed skladbou z prvn\u00edho alba „Never Surrender“.
Na t\u0159et\u00ed skladbu se objevila tak\u00e9 posledn\u00ed \u010dlenka kapely, \u010darod\u011bjnice Morgana Le Fay<\/strong>, aby mohli p\u0159edstavit prvn\u00ed skladbu nov\u00e9ho alba toho ve\u010dera a to „Kings of Ragnar\u00f6k“. Z alba „Armageddon“ zazn\u011bly b\u011bhem ve\u010dera v\u0161echny vydan\u00e9 singly, tituln\u00ed skladba „Armageddon“, „Genghis Khan“ i v \u017eiv\u00e9 premi\u00e9\u0159e „Hangman’s Night“.
Show doplnili dal\u0161\u00edmi velice popul\u00e1rn\u00edmi skladbami. V\u010detn\u011b t\u0159eba skladby „We Are the Fire“ na kterou se na pokyn kapely rozjel slu\u0161n\u00fd circle pit. Na \u00fapln\u00fd z\u00e1v\u011br nechyb\u011bl ani \u00fapln\u011b prvn\u00ed vydan\u00fd single „Gladiator“.
Nejenom fanou\u0161ci, ale i cel\u00e1 kapela si ve\u010der velice u\u017e\u00edvala. Nebylo to jen klasick\u00e9 vystoupen\u00ed, kter\u00e1 norm\u00e1ln\u011b b\u00fdvaj\u00ed pln\u00e1 energie a dobr\u00e9 muziky, ale tentokr\u00e1t se v\u00edce vtipkovalo a celkov\u011b byla atmosf\u00e9ra na p\u00f3diu uvoln\u011bn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samoz\u0159ejm\u011b takov\u00e9to akce by nebyly tak z\u00e1bavn\u00e9 bez po\u0159\u00e1dn\u00fdch fanou\u0161k\u016f a to obou skupin. Tak\u00e9 mus\u00edme p\u0159i\u010d\u00edst velk\u00e9 z\u00e1sluhy cel\u00e9 crew obou skupin, bez nich by to tak\u00e9 ne\u0161lo. Nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed pod\u011bkov\u00e1n\u00ed ale pat\u0159\u00ed \u010dlen\u016fm vystupuj\u00edc\u00edm za jejich p\u0159edstaven\u00ed a energii, kterou do cel\u00e9ho ve\u010dera museli investovat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ob\u011b skupiny vyr\u00e1\u017eej\u00ed na tour hned na za\u010d\u00e1tku p\u0159\u00ed\u0161t\u00edho roku, nebo je m\u016f\u017eete je\u0161t\u011b b\u011bhem l\u00e9ta odchytit na n\u011bjak\u00e9m festivalu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though there are a lot of open-air festivals around, on 5 July 2025 we headed to the Colos-Saal <\/strong>club in Aschaffenburg to enjoy the release show of Warkings<\/strong>‚ latest album, „Armageddon“. Their special guest was the band Hammer King<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right after the doors opened, there was a signing session with the mighty Warkings<\/strong>. All the fans present could get the new CDs and promo cards signed, or take a picture with the band. I went too, to chat and get some autographs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then we had to wait until eight o’clock for Hammer King <\/strong>to start their performance. They kicked off their show with the very popular song \u201cPariah Is My Name\u201d and got things going right from the start. It was the first time I saw them in their new five-piece lineup with a young addition, new second guitarist Sir Marex<\/strong>. Despite a slight nervousness, I think the band fits well together and it’s nice to hear two guitars on stage again. I must also mention that singer and frontman Titan Fox V. <\/strong>benefits from putting down his guitar so he can focus more on singing and interacting with the audience.
In addition to tried and tested songs such as \u201cAwaken The Thunder\u201d and \u201cHammerschlag,\u201d we heard the latest single \u201cMake Metal Royal Again\u201d from the upcoming album. At the very end of the performance, they chose one of their oldest songs, \u201cKingdom of the Hammer King,\u201d during which they released several golden balloons into the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After another moment of waiting, the song \u201cWarriors of the World\u201d by Manowar<\/strong>, familiar to all metalheads, rang out from the speakers, and the highlight of the evening could begin. The intro with the introduction of all four original members of Warkings <\/strong>was a must, and they started with the song \u201cThe Last Battle,\u201d followed by another song from their first album, \u201cNever Surrender.\u201d
For the third song, the last member of the band, Morgana Le Fay<\/strong>, appeared on stage to introduce the first song from the new album, \u201cKings of Ragnar\u00f6k.\u201d All the singles released from the album \u201cArmageddon\u201d were played during the evening, including the title track \u201cArmageddon,\u201d \u201cGenghis Khan,\u201d and the live premiere of \u201cHangman’s Night.\u201d
The show was completed with other very popular songs, including \u201cWe Are the Fire,\u201d which started a decent circle pit at the band’s request. At the very end, the first single \u201cGladiator\u201d was played.
Not only the fans, but also the entire band enjoyed the evening very much. It wasn’t just a classic performance, which are usually full of energy and good music, but this time there was more joking around and the atmosphere on stage was more relaxed overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, such events would not be as entertaining without dedicated fans of both bands. We must also give credit to the entire crew of both, without whom it would not have been possible. However, the biggest thanks go to the band members for their performances and the energy they invested in the entire evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both bands are going on tour at the beginning of next year, or you can catch them at some festival during the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
