On Saturday, January 17, 2026, it was time to head to Germany once again, to the club L.A. in Cham, but this time even to a Czech band, in their foreign form. I am, of course, talking about Dymytry, specifically the newly named Dymytry Paradoxwith their frontman AL.
As the opening act joined them also an Ukrainian band, Space of Variations. With their metalcore, which is very dynamic and energetic, they tried to liven up the atmosphere in the club. Personally, I really liked their songs and was quite impressed by their performance. Unfortunately, I felt that the mood in the club was rather lukewarm and not many people supported them, which is a bit of a shame.

There were probably more Czechs than Germans among the arrivals, and they were definitely looking forward more to Dymytry Paradox. Their tour was organized primarily to promote their new album, "Born From Chaos", from which they played all three singles that I liked so much and wanted to hear live. The set was also complemented by several older songs, including "Behind the Mask," which they recorded together with Hämatom. Honestly, I don't enjoy the older songs that much, but with English lyrics and performed by ALI actually like it more than the Czech version. I know this isn't a very popular opinion, but I enjoyed the foreign version much more, and I was surprised by how much I liked it.

It's widely known that I'm not a die-hard fan of Dymytry, but I really enjoyed this version and I'm glad I got to experience it. Maybe I'll go see them again sometime.
