Sympaťáky ze Serious Black vždy ráda vidím a proto, když byli kousek za hranicemi v Schirndingu, tak jsem si to nenechala ujít. Obzvlášť když s sebou měli hosty Dragony a Autumn Bride. Toto trio kapel doplňovali ještě místní Chapter Eleven.
Začátek byl trochu pomalejší a nálada chladnější během vystoupení Chapter Eleven i přes velkou podporu místních fanoušků. Večer se ale postupně rozjížděl a tempo se lehce zlepšovalo. Nejvíce mě na pódiu bavili kytarista a basák za mikrofony, kteří si vystoupení velice užívali.
Jako druzí se na pódium objevili Autumn Bride. I přes lehké nachlazení zpěvačky předvedli solidní výkon. V celku jsem nezaznamenala rozdíl mezi tímto a pražským vystoupením. Setlist byl úplně stejný a i napodruhé se mi nejvíce líbila skladba “Bedtime Stories”.
Další vystupující kapelou byli mí oblíbení Rakušané, Dragony. Jejich nejnovější album “Hic Svnt Dracones” je velice povedené a nejvíce hraných skladeb bylo právě z tohoto alba. Skladby jako “Twilight of the Gods” nebo “Dragon of the Sea” jsou skvěle připravená na živá vystoupení a velice atraktivní pro diváky. Samozřejmě nesměly chybět ani osvědčené starší skladby jako “Lords of the Hunt” a “If It Bleeds We Can Kill It”. Na konec setlistu byla zvolena další skladba z posledního alba “Beyond the Rainbow Bridge”, ale protože ještě zbýval nějaký čas, tak nás skupina poctila ještě jednou bonusovou skladbou “Wolves of the North”.
Nejvíce fanoušků ale přišlo na hlavní kapelu večera, Serious Black. Já už jsem věděla do čeho jdu, jelikož už jsem viděla jednu show v Praze (report z tohoto večera zde na odkazu). To ale vůbec nepokazilo mé nadšení, naopak jsem si užívala každý další song na set listu a zpívala od začátku do konce. Na pódiu ani nebyla znát únava na žádném ze členů a celé vystoupení jeli naplno. Kromě nových hitů a několik coverů zahráli také starší skladby. Mezi mé nejoblíbenější patří “Senso della Vita”, “Take Your Life” a i závěrečná “High and Low”.
Byl to první z večerů navštívených ve spolupráci s Rockclub Nordbayern a jistě ne poslední. Děkuji Alexovi za přístup a příležitost a těším se na další koncert v Schirndingu. Musím poděkovat také všem kapelám za velice profesionální výstupy, jsem ráda, že jsem Vás všechny zase viděla a budu se těšit na příště.

I’m always happy to see guys of Serious Black, so when they were just over the border in Schirnding, I couldn’t miss it. Especially when they had guests Dragony and Autumn Bride with them. This trio of bands was supported by locals Chapter Eleven.
The start was a little slower and the mood was cooler during Chapter Eleven‘s performance despite the great support from the local fans. However, the evening gradually picked up and the pace improved slightly. The guitarist and bassist behind the microphones were the most entertaining on stage and I thoroughly enjoyed the performance.
Autumn Bride were the second to take the stage. Despite the singer’s slight cold, they put on a solid performance. On the whole, I didn’t notice any difference between this and the Prague performance. The setlist was exactly the same and I liked the song “Bedtime Stories” the most.
The next band was my favourite Austrians, Dragony. Their latest album “Hic Svnt Dracones” is very good and most of the songs played were from this album. Songs like “Twilight of the Gods” or “Dragon of the Sea” are well prepared for live performances and very attractive for the audience. Of course, the tried and tested older songs like “Lords of the Hunt” and “If It Bleeds We Can Kill It” were not to be missed either. Another track from the latest album “Beyond the Rainbow Bridge” was chosen to end the setlist, but since there was still some time left, the band graced us with one more bonus track “Wolves of the North”.
Most fans came out for the main band of the night, Serious Black. I already knew what I was getting into, as I had already seen one show in Prague (report from that night here on the link). But that didn’t spoil my enthusiasm at all, on the contrary I enjoyed every song on the set list and sang along from start to finish. There was not even any tiredness on any of the members on stage and they went all out for the whole show. In addition to new hits and a few covers, they also played older songs. Some of my favorites include “Senso della Vita”, “Take Your Life” and even the closing “High and Low”.
This was the first of the nights attended in collaboration with Rockclub Nordbayern and certainly not the last. I thank Alex for the access and opportunity and look forward to the next concert in Schirnding. I must also thank all the bands for their very professional performances, I am glad to have seen you all again and will look forward to the next time.
