Serious Black v Praze

Také v sobotu 15.3.2025 Club Storm hostil metalový koncert, tentokrát power metalový. Vystupovali zde Serious Black s hostem Autumn Bride a podporou Rigorious.

Bohužel ani mrazivá sobota nepřinesla velkou účast a celého večeru se účastnilo přibližně 50 lidí. Naštěstí to kapely neodradilo od dobré nálady a všechny tři nám předvedly skvělé show.

Začalo se kolem sedmé hodiny večerní, kdy své první tóny spustili němečtí Rigorious. Tato relativně mladá kapela má na svém kontě pouze dvě studiová alba, to druhé vyšlo teprve nedávno (recenzi a více informací o něm naleznete zde na odkazu). Musím uznat ale, že naživo na mě skupina udělala úplně jiný dojem než z nahrávek. Jejich energie se mi velice líbila a skladby jako “Fight For Your Life” a “Brothers Arise” jsou na živá vystoupení skvěle připravené. Doufám, že jim tato premiéra v ČR přinese nové příležitosti.

Druhé vystoupení patřilo rakouským Autumn Bride. Velice charismatické představení této skupiny, kdy také zahrály skladby především ze svého druhého a zároveň posledního alba, které vyšlo minulý rok. Jejich goticky laděná muzika a k tomu také kostýmy potěšila příchozí fanoušky. Zaujaly mě skladby “jako “Fear and Devotion”, “Bedtime Stories” nebo závěrečná “Guardian Angels”.

Hlavní hvězdou večera, na kterou se všichni těšili nejvíce, byli Serious Black. Jejich show fanoušky jistě nezklamala. Přinesli si na pódium velké množství energie, kterou využili na párty s přítomnými lidmi. I přes nižší návštěvnost byli reakce velice hlasité a zpívalo se, skákalo se i vlasy lítaly ze strany na stranu. Do setlistu, který trval déle než 100 minut, se vešly skladby z různých období. Ze dvou nejnovějších alb jsme mohli slyšet “United”, “Out Of The Ashes” nebo “Tonight I’m Ready To Fight”. Zahrály taky pár coverů a také pár starších kousků, hlavně skladba “Serious Black Magic” nemohla chybět. Na závěr zvolili nejoblíbenější skladbu z posledního alba “Take Your Life” a pak ještě naopak tu nejstarší klasickou skladbu “High and Low”.

I na fotografiích můžete vidět jaká dobrá nálada během večera panovala. Myslím, že to byl naprosto skvělý večer a jsem vděčná, že jsem ho mohla být součástí. Velké poděkování patří především všem kapelám za úžasná vystoupení a celé jejich crew za profesionální výkon. Další poděkování patří také promotérům a fanouškům, kteří vytvořili takovouto atmosféru.

Also on Saturday 15.3.2025 Club Storm hosted a metal concert, this time power metal one. Serious Black with guest Autumn Bride and support of Rigorious performed here.

Unfortunately, even the frosty Saturday did not bring a big turnout and the whole evening was attended by about 50 people. Fortunately this didn’t stop the bands from having a good time and all three gave us a great show.

It started around 7pm when the German Rigorious started their first notes. This relatively young band has only two studio albums to their credit, the second one was released only recently (you can find a review and more information about it here on the link). I must admit, however, that the band made a completely different impression on me live than from the recordings. I really liked their energy and songs like “Fight For Your Life” and “Brothers Arise” are well prepared for live performances. I hope that this Czech premiere will bring them new opportunities.

The second performance belonged to the Austrian Autumn Bride. A very charismatic performance of this band, where they also played songs mainly from their second and last album, which was released last year. Their gothic music and costumes delighted the fans. I was intrigued by songs “Fear and Devotion”, “Bedtime Stories” and also the closing “Guardian Angels”.

The headliner of the night that everyone was most looking forward to was Serious Black. Their show certainly did not disappoint the fans. They brought a lot of energy to the stage, which they used to party with the people in the crowd. Despite the lower attendance, the reactions were very loud and there was singing, jumping and hair flying from side to side. The setlist, which lasted over 100 minutes, included songs from a number of different eras. From their two most recent albums we could hear “United”, “Out Of The Ashes” and “Tonight I’m Ready To Fight”. They also played a couple of covers and some older cuts, especially the track “Serious Black Magic” couldn’t be missed. At the end they chose the most popular song from the last album “Take Your Life” and then the oldest classic “High and Low”.

Even in the photos you can see what a good mood prevailed during the evening. I think it was an absolutely great evening and I am grateful to have been a part of it. A big thank you to all the bands for their amazing performances and to the whole crew for their professionality. Another thanks also goes to the promoters and fans who created such an atmosphere.
