Minulý víkend jsem měla možnost vidět ne pouze jedno, ale hned dvě představení mých oblíbených pirátů, Visions of Atlantis, v ČR. Zavítali totiž 21.9. do Zlína a 22.9.2024 do Prahy.
První vystoupení obou večerů patřilo Seraině Telli a její kapele. Předtím jsem ji vůbec neznala a byla jsem mile překvapena. Hned jsem si zamilovala její hlas a také její energii na pódiu. Píseň “Addicted to Color” vypovídá hodně o její osobnosti. Na druhou stranu písně jako “Think!” a “Modern Warrior” vypovídají hodně o dnešním světě. Doufám, že to nebylo naposledy, co jsem ji mohla potkat.
Speciálním hostem tohoto turné je Illumishade. Líbí se mi jejich kombinace metalu, filmové hudby a krásných melodií. K tomu všemu je tu úžasný vokál Fabienne Erni. Letos vydali své druhé album a zahráli z něj spoustu písní. Slyšeli jsme skladby jako “Riptide”, “Elegy” nebo mou oblíbenou “Cloudreader”. Jejich vystoupení bylo až příliš krátké a já si užívala každou jejich minutu.
Všichni ale stále čekali na hlavní hvězdu. Piráti Visions of Atlantis předvedli úžasnou show. Po vydání svého alba “Pirates II: Armada” zahráli především spoustu skladeb právě z něj. Vlastně už úplně všechny skladby někde zahráli naživo, protože na pražském koncertě zahráli zbývající skladbu „Where the Sky and Ocean Blend“. Slyšeli jsme také všechny singly tohoto alba “Armada”, “Monsters” a “Tonight I’m Alive”. Nemohli však také zapomenout na některé populární písně z předchozího alba “Pirates“. Zahráli například “Legion Of The Sea”, “Melancholy Angel” nebo “Master The Hurricane”. Při písni “Pirates Will Return” si dokonce museli diváci sednout na zem a pořádně veslovat.
Na konci víkendu jsem byl úplně vyčerpaná, ale velice spokojená. Užila jsem si spoustu dobré hudby a samozřejmě je vždycky skvělé potkat tolik báječných lidí, včetně členů všech kapel. Musím tedy poděkovat Pragokoncertu a celé crew za uspořádání těchto koncertů a skvělé vzpomínky na ně.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to see not one, but two Czech shows of my favourite pirates, Visions of Atlantis. They visited Zlín on 21.9. and Prague on 22.9.2024.
The first performance of both evenings belonged to Seraina Telli and her band. I didn’t know her before and I was pleasantly surprised. I fell in love with her voice and her energy on stage. Her song “Addicted to Color” says a lot about her personality. On the other hand songs like “Think!” and “Modern Warrior” tell a lot about the world. I hope this wasn’t the last time I saw her.
The special guest for this tour is Illumishade. I like their combination of metal, film music and beautiful melodies. On top of all that there is the amazing vocals of Fabienne Erni. They released their second album this year and played a lot of songs from it. We got to hear songs like “Riptide”, “Elegy” or my favourite “Cloudreader”. Their show was a little bit too short and I enjoyed every song of it.
Everybody was still waiting for the headliner. Pirates Visions of Atlantis came out with an amazing show. After the release of their album “Pirates II: Armada” they play a lot of songs from it. Actually they’ve already played all the songs live somewhere, because at the Prague show they played the remaining song “Where the Sky and Ocean Blend”. We also heard all the singles from this album, “Armada”, “Monsters” and “Tonight I’m Alive”. But they couldn’t forget some popular songs from the previous “Pirates” album. For example, they played “Legion Of The Sea”, “Melancholy Angel” or “Master The Hurricane”. During the song “Pirates Will Return” the audience even had to sit down and row.
At the end of the weekend I was exhausted but happy. I enjoyed a lot of great music and of course it’s always great to meet so many wonderful people, including all the band members. So I have to thank Pragokoncert and the crew for these evenings and great memories.
